From Vocational Training students across Spain to hiking and route recovery associations, as well as Greek Erasmus students, members of the European Commission, the German Chamber of Commerce, and public and private entities from Portugal and Italy. A total of over 1,400 visitors last year had the chance to get a closer look at how renewable energy works, engage with the technicians behind these projects, and learn firsthand how these technologies integrate with the environment.
Every year, Endesa opens its renewable facilities in Andalusia and across Spain not only to educational institutions through the Endesa Educa educational programme by the Endesa Foundation, but also to any organisations interested in learning more about how energy is generated through sun, wind, and water.
Endesa, through its renewable subsidiary Enel Green Power España, has made a total of 51 renewable energy facilities available to the public. Visits can be arranged through visitas.egpe@enel.com and the Endesa Educa website. Visitors can experience nearly century-old plants, such as the Cala hydroelectric plant in Seville; solar farms like those in Carmona, where the integration of renewable energies and the primary sector is a reality; or Endesa’s wind facilities in Malaga, which have become major biodiversity refuges.

About the Endesa Foundation
The Endesa Foundation was established in 1998 as a manifestation of Endesa’s social commitment to address the needs of the environment in which it operates and thereby contribute to societal development.
On a daily basis, it strives to maximise its social impact through projects that promote high-quality education suited to current challenges, to ensure that the most vulnerable have a future filled with opportunities, foster the culture and art of our country, and to create a more sustainable world by caring for our surrounding environment.
