Download the On Your Way app for free from the App Store or Google Play. Registration only requires an email address and a payment method. Ready in two minutes.
2. Locate a charging point
Use the map to find the nearest charger compatible with your vehicle. Always check real-time availability before you set off.
3. Plug in and start
Plug your vehicle in and start the session from the app. There is no need for physical cards, operator calls, or extra steps.
4. Pay and go
Once finished, the payment is processed automatically. The session details—including cost, energy consumed, and duration—are saved instantly to your history.

What is On Your Way and what is it used for?
On Your Way is Endesa's free app designed for charging your electric vehicle on the public charging network. With it, you can locate over 70,000 charging points across Europe (including 13,900 in Spain), check their availability in real time, plan routes with optimised charging stops, and pay for the sessions from your smartphone. It eliminates the need for physical cards or additional contracts with each network operator.
Does On Your Way control the Waybox EH5 home charger?
No. The Waybox EH5—the current model supplied by Endesa for home charging—uses its own dedicated application to schedule charging, adjust power output, and view your domestic charging history. The On Your Way app does not control the Waybox EH5.
It is optimised for the public charging network. If you have questions about which app to use for your home charger, please consult the equipment documentation or contact Endesa customer service.
Is the On Your Way app free?
Yes, the app is completely free to download. There are no monthly fees or subscription costs. You only pay for the energy you consume during each session, at the specific rate set by that charging point—which you can check before plugging in.
How many charging points are available in Spain?
The app provides access to over 13,900 charging points across Spain and more than 70,000 throughout Europe. The map updates the availability and operational status of every charger in real time.
Does the app work across Europe?
Yes. On Your Way covers more than 70,000 charging points across Europe. It is especially useful for international travel or long road trips where you need to plan your charging stops in advance.
How do I pay for charging with On Your Way?
Payments are handled within the app. Once you link a bank card to your profile, billing is processed automatically at the end of each session. You don't need physical roaming cards or separate contracts with each network operator. Your entire transaction history is logged in the app.
What connector types are supported?
The app allows you to filter charging points by connector type (including CCS, CHAdeMO, and Type 2/Mennekes) and by power output (slow AC, fast AC, rapid DC). This ensures you can verify a charger's compatibility with your vehicle before you arrive. Full specifications are displayed on each charger's profile page.
Do I need to be an Endesa customer to use On Your Way?
No. Any electric vehicle owner can download and use the On Your Way app, regardless of their electricity supplier. The app acts as an open, multi-operator gateway to public charging infrastructure across Europe.

(*) With Endesa Energía’s "Recarga en Casa Tariff", for €0.8219/day excluding taxes, you will be entitled to up to 216.99 kWh for a standard 30-day billing period (equivalent to a charge of €31.35 including taxes in Mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, and €26.69 in the Canary Islands) for contracts entered into up to 14/07/2026. Any kWh consumed during a billing period in excess of the energy allowance included in the charge will be billed at the energy rate applicable to the "Recarga en Casa Tariff", with a 10% discount on the energy rate for the duration of the contract. In addition, and only for customers switching from electricity suppliers other than Endesa Energía, a further 10% discount will apply during the first year of the contract. The kWh included in the charge for each billing period may not exceed 60% of the total kWh consumed during that period. Any consumption above this 60% threshold will be billed at the "Recarga en Casa Tariff" energy rate, subject to any applicable discounts. Where the "Recarga en Casa Tariff" from Endesa Energía is contracted together with an Endesa X Way charging point, an indefinite 30% discount will be applied to the "Recarga en Casa Tariff" charge (equivalent to a charge of €21.95 including taxes in Mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, and €18.69 in the Canary Islands). For regulatory purposes, full consumption of the kWh included in the charge does not guarantee that all such consumption is attributable to charging your vehicle. The consumption figures used have been calculated in accordance with the IDAE methodology dated 19/05/2025, based on an average electric vehicle consumption of approximately 17.6 kWh per 100 km. Accordingly, 216.99 kWh per month would be equivalent to 1,250 km per month or 15,000 km per year. For the remaining terms and conditions, please visit www.endesa.com.
