FAQs on Endesa’s solar tariffs

What incentives are available for sustainable mobility?

The Moves Plan consists of a series of government subsidies designed to promote sustainable mobility. This programme offers grants both for the installation of electric charging points and for the purchase of electric or hybrid vehicles.

At Endesa X Way, we’ll handle the grant application process for you, though we do not assume any responsibility for the approval or outcome of the application.

What technical requirements are needed to install a charging unit in my parking space?

To install an electric vehicle charging point, a 230/400 VAC power supply with grounding must be available, along with a general control and safety panel, and a metering device.

What happens if there is no electricity supply point because the garage does not belong to the same homeowners’ association as the home?

If there is no existing electricity supply point, you must request a new one from the local electricity supply company. To do this, you need to contact the supplier responsible for your area.

Each supplier defines its own procedure to follow. Once you have submitted the request, the supplier will send you the quote. Usually, no major electrical grid upgrades will be necessary, so you will only need to cover the costs of the new connection, which for a power capacity of 9.2 kW is approximately €350 plus VAT. However, sometimes the supplier may need to carry out additional work, for which they will provide a separate estimate. You can then decide whether to proceed or not.

What happens if my installation is not feasible?

If, after the purchase process is finalised, the installer visits your home and determines that installing a charging point is not feasible due to technical reasons beyond the buyer’s control, the order will be cancelled and any amount already paid for the installation of the charging point will be refunded.

What happens if my parking space has no signal coverage?

If there is no 3G/4G mobile or Wi-Fi signal where you install your WayBox, you will not be able to use the app to control the unit or monitor your charging. Our technician will check the signal coverage and install an antenna if needed. If coverage is still insufficient even with an antenna, the WayBox will be set up in the most suitable mode to ensure proper functioning—either Connect & Charge, Unlock to Charge, or using only the RFID card.

Can I install a charging unit in a parking space that I hold under a concession agreement?

If your parking space is held under a concession agreement and the concessionaire has established a specific protocol, you must comply with the provisions of that protocol. For example, this is the case of residents of Madrid whose parking spaces are a municipal concession.

However, if the concessionaire has not established a specific protocol, it is sufficient to notify the concessionaire as stated in Article 17, point 5 of Law 49/1960, of 21 July, on Horizontal Property

If this procedure is required, Endesa X will provide a template letter.

How can I choose the best electricity tariff for recharging my electric vehicle?

Although it depends on your charging habits and vehicle usage, the Tempo 3 Periods tariff allows you to save by charging your electric car every weekday night (from 00:00 to 08:00) and 24 hours a day on weekends and public holidays. No commitment, no penalties.

Do I need a domestic charger to be able to enjoy this electric vehicle tariff?

We offer you an exclusive electricity tariff for your electric car, and if you don’t yet have a charger installed, we provide a comprehensive solution so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

The Tempo 3 Periods tariff is ideal for charging your vehicle at night, although having a charger installed is not essential — a standard socket could be enough. In any case, if you don’t yet have a charger, with Endesa’s Mobility offer you can install your electric charger at the best price and sign up for the exclusive public charging tariff.
