Formidable Mobility: Exclusive charger and electricity tariff offer for your electric car

Endesa Formidable Mobility is the perfect opportunity to save on your energy bill by taking out the new combined contract for electricity, gas and a Waybox home charger. The more products you contract with Endesa, the greater the discount on your bill. With no minimum duration!

The single price for the Formidable offer includes everything you need for a standard installation, with a limit of 70 metres, a maximum of 5 concrete blocks, load balancing, Electrical Installation Certificate (CIE in Spanish). If necessary, an aerial and its installation in areas with poor coverage.

The following items are excluded and will be budgeted and invoiced directly by the installer. These include the following:

• Installation above 70 metres
• More than 5 concrete blocks
• Request for new supply
• Civil works:
  • Trenches
  • Blocks in the structure between levels where the use of special machines for drilling concrete is required
  • Channels in brick or walls made of other materials
• Working at height (heights greater than 4 metres)
• Masonry, plumbing, aesthetic and painting work

Power balancing is a function that enables you to charge your electric car without blowing the fuses due to the consumption being made by other appliances in your home. Your WayBox will adjust itself so as not to exceed the power you have contracted when you charge the car. For this to work you need to install a special device on the meter called a WayMeter.

Example: If the contracted power is 6kW and the household consumption is 1kW, the WayBox will charge at 5kW. In case the household consumption increases to 3kW, the WayBox will reduce the power delivered to 3kW.

To install the charging point for an electric vehicle, there needs to be a 230/400 VAC power supply point equipped with an earth connection, a main switchboard, a protection panel and measuring equipment.

If you do not have an electricity supply point, you must request a new one from the electricity distribution company. To do this, you will have to contact the electricity distribution company that corresponds to your area.

Each distribution company defines the protocol to be followed. Once the request has been made, the distributor will send the quote. Normally, it will not be necessary to carry out major work to adapt the electricity network, so you will only have to pay the costs for the new supply line which, for a power of 9.2kW, is about €350+VAT. However, sometimes it will be necessary for the distribution company to carry out additional work, so it will budget for it and you can decide whether to go ahead or not.

Once the purchase process has been completed, if the installer finds that the installation for the charging point is not feasible due to technical problems beyond the buyer's control, the order will be cancelled and any amount corresponding to the installation of the charging point that has been charged to date will be refunded.

If there is no 3G/4G or Wi-Fi cell signal nearby where you install your WayBox, you will not be able to use the app to control the device or see what you have charged. The technician will check your coverage and install an aerial for you. If the aerial does not provide enough coverage, the technician will configure the Waybox to the most suitable mode for the WayBox to work with Connect & Charge or with Unlock to Charge or using only the RFID card.

Law 49/1960, of July 21, 1960, on Horizontal Property establishes in Article 17, point 5: "The installation of an electric vehicle charging station for private use in the car park of the building will only require prior communication to the community, provided it is located in an individual parking space.

The cost of this installation and the corresponding electricity consumption will be borne entirely by the person or persons directly interested in it. So you only need to inform the community of owners and/or the administrator that a charging station is going to be installed in the parking space.

If it is necessary to carry out this procedure, Endesa X will provide a standard letter.

If you are renting the parking space where you are going to park your electric vehicle you are allowed to install a charging device, but to do so you should first ask for authorisation from the owner of the parking space. In order to avoid problems later, it is recommended that this authorisation should be in writing and signed by the owner. This authorisation may also be used to be attached to the installation communication referred to above.

If it is necessary to carry out this procedure, Endesa X Way will provide a standard letter.

If your garage space is under concession and the concessionaire has established a specific action protocol, you should abide by the provisions of this protocol. This is the case of residents in the city of Madrid for example, who have parking spaces under a municipal concession.

However, if the concessionaire has not established a specific action protocol, it will be sufficient to inform the concessionaire as established in Article 17 point 5 of Law 49/1960, of 21 July, on Horizontal Property.

If it is necessary to carry out this procedure, Endesa X will provide a standard letter.

Although payment details are collected at the time of purchase, the customer will not be charged until after the installation of the equipment is completed.

The Moves Plan consists of a series of government grants designed to encourage sustainable mobility. This programme offers aid both for the installation of electric charging points and for the acquisition of electric or hybrid vehicles.

Endesa X will manage the application for a subsidy but in no case will they be responsible for granting/resolving the subsidy.
