How to write a CV and a good cover letter, discovering the selection process step by step, learning about your personal brand and digital identity. These are just some of a the training sessions enjoyed by the 60 young people who participated in the second edition of 'BYG On Campus,' a seven-day retreat that forms part of the 'BYG_Give Your Best' training program, created by Fundación Endesa and Fundación Lo Que De Verdad Importa and designed with the support of consultancy firm Jobientation. From 7 to 14 July, in Sierra de Gredos, the foundations worked together to train participants and prepare them to face the professional world, helping them to discover the best version of themselves.

The young people chosen to take part in this year's 'BYG On Campus' participated in career development sessions and workshops that aimed to teach them skills and values with the help of experts from different sectors who shared their professional and personal experiences. The experts included Ismael Clemente, CEO of Merlin Properties; Gustavo Gabarda, Vice President of Fundación Endesa; Gerardo Seelinger, SEAT Advisor and founder of Círculo para el Diálogo; Lucía Crespo, Telefónica Universitas Program Director; Amber Wigmore, Chief Innovation Officer at Highered EFMD Global Talent Network; Rodrigo Miranda, Director General of ISDI Business School; and Fon de Luján, social entrepreneur and co-founder of Parafina Co., among others.

This comprehensive training is a vital pillar in the process of learning different values. In this vein, the young people taking part were given the opportunity to hear impactful first-hand accounts of overcoming adversity from Sara Andrés, Spanish Paralympic athlete; Miriam Fernández, Spanish swimmer and singer with brain paralysis; Jesús Vidal, Spanish actor who won a Goya Award for his role in the film 'Campeones'; and Nigerian Kenneth Oloabuchi, who fled his country in a dinghy. All great role models for these young people who are eager to give their all to personal and professional futures.

Meanwhile, the comprehensive training program also included outdoor activities such as paintballing, archery and kayaking, aimed at encouraging team work and integration. The initiative aims to promote shared values among young people through the exchange of experiences and the retreat shared by students and professionals. It also aims to give them the tools, inspiration and motivation that they need in order to take their first steps into the world of work.

These 60 young people will become part of 'Comunidad BYG,' a space where the young people who participate in the different editions throughout the year are able to take part in learning experiences and workshops focused on accessing employment, all of which are committed to value formation and are coordinated by Fundación Lo Que De Verdad Importa or Fundación Endesa.

The 'BYG_Give Your Best' initiative is yet another example of Fundación Endesa's firm and resolute commitment to promoting talent within the framework of its vocational training programs with the aim maximising opportunities for young people, supplementing their professional and personal training to facilitate their entry into the workforce.

Meanwhile, through BYG, Fundación Lo Que De Verdad Importa aims to spread universal values using stories of exemplary and inspiring lives, which it does within the framework of its extensive program of activities, including the annual conferences it has been holding in different cities in Spain for over a decade.
