- A new slogan, 'Nothing Stops Us', a dedicated Instagram profile, and a Fantasy league are among the new features for the 2025/26 season, which were unveiled at Endesa's headquarters on Tuesday with two players from each of the competition's 16 teams in attendance.
The LF Endesa has a fresh new look. At an event held at the naming sponsor's headquarters, hosted by Marta Fernández and Pablo Lolaso and featuring a musical performance by Moni Montes—one of the young musical talents supported by Endesa—the season's latest updates were announced: the new slogan, 'Nothing Stops Us'; a Fantasy league game allowing fans to create their own team and compete with friends; and the new LF Endesa Instagram profile, which will provide updates on the competition.
The event reviewed some of last season's key milestones: one million people watched the Copa de la Reina (Queen's Cup), Hozono Global Jairis won the Cup, Valencia Basket secured the League title, Iyana Martín, the best young player in the EuroLeague, and Rubén Burgos, the best coach.
Andrea Vilaró (Perfumerías Avenida), Awa Fam and Raquel Carrera (Valencia Basket), Nerea Hermosa (Casademont Zaragoza), Lou López and Aina Ayuso (Hozono Global Jairis)—representatives of the four teams participating in the LF Endesa Supercup—described their readiness for the season's first tournament using emojis and stickers, which each player explained.
Noa Morro and Mama Dembelé (Kutxabank Araski), María Espín and Irene Lahuerta (Innova TSN Leganés), Itziar Ariztimuño and Rosó Buch (IDK Euskotren), Noelia Masía and Marina Gea (Ingeniera Ambiental CAB Estepona) took to the stage to explain in a headline what the season holds for each of their teams.
Ainhoa López and Laura Quevedo (Spar Girona), Juana Camilión and Irati Etxarri (Movistar Estudiantes), and Blanca Millán and Gala Mestres (Baxi Ferrol) created their teams for the new Fantasy LF Endesa, which will launch with the first matchday of the competition.
Naia Zubiaga (Lointek Gernika), Paula Estebas and Claudia Contell (SPAR Gran Canaria), Yurena Díaz and Lucía Rodríguez (Cadí La Seu), and Zoe Hernández and Elba Garfella (Durán Maquinaria Ensino) were the last to take the stage, taking a selfie to upload an Instagram story and tagging the new account.
Elisa Aguilar: 'This is a competition where nothing stops us'
When you have the best league in Europe, a product with so much potential, it’s because there is a lot of hard work behind it. The main stars are the players, whose talent is undeniable. But behind them are the clubs, which strive to be more demanding and professional every year. I would also add the referees, coaches, sponsors... and when you combine that with Endesa's involvement, you get a competition where ‘Nothing Stops Us’.
José Bogas: 'We have all the ingredients for success'
Basketball has a family spirit that is fundamental to us. And everyone is working in the same direction. We have talented young players, the hard work of the clubs—some well-established and others new... we have all the ingredients for success and for a season that will bring us great joy. I am convinced that this Liga Femenina Endesa season will be very successful.
Rodríguez Uribes: 'Spanish basketball is in excellent health'
José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, President of the CSD (National Sports Council), opened the event by expressing his 'gratitude to the Federation and to Endesa, because here we have a fine example of public-private collaboration. We are all aware that basketball is the sport with the highest number of female licences, it is presided over by a woman, and it has a powerful league with high sporting and visibility standards. Spanish basketball is in excellent health.'
