- This new product allows private customers to have an electric or plug-in hybrid car from Ayvens, including not only the usual leasing services such as insurance, maintenance, and tyres, but also the installation of a home charging point and even the option to charge on Endesa's public network. All in a single contract and a single monthly payment.
- This collaboration agreement is another step in Endesa's plan to boost electric mobility in Spain and facilitate the transition for customers with complete solutions, helping to break down the barriers that still exist when it comes to acquiring an electric vehicle.
Endesa, the leading operator of integrated energy solutions, and Ayvens, a leading expert in mobility and sustainability, have just launched Endesa Drive, an innovative all-inclusive leasing service that aims to give a new boost to electric mobility in our country by facilitating charging both at home and on public roads, with a single fixed monthly payment.
'Endesa has been selling private access charging solutions for both private and business customers for over 15 years, which has allowed us to get to know the market up close and adapt our solutions to customer needs. The launch of Endesa Drive with Ayvens is an example of how we work every day to make the switch to electric mobility ever simpler,' added Davide Ciciliato, General Manager of Supply at Endesa.
'Endesa Drive is a pioneering product that will allow us to facilitate the private customer's transition to sustainable mobility, helping to overcome the barriers that still exist when acquiring an electric vehicle, such as charging. This launch once again demonstrates Ayvens' commitment to reducing the impact of transport on the environment,' stated Clara Santos, General Manager of Ayvens Spain.
This is the first electric leasing service designed for private customers that includes the entire solution in a single contract and a single fixed monthly payment:
- The lease of an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, with several models available, including maintenance, tyre changes, repairs, and insurance.
- For home charging, it includes the installation of a smart domestic charging point with all services included: charger, power balancing, and connectivity with the Endesa App. In addition, Endesa offers Endesa Drive customers its TEMPO ZERO tariff. This is the home electricity tariff designed for charging electric vehicles, with the first 200 kWh of each month being free of charge (between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.). This is equivalent to approximately 15,000 km per year with a reference consumption of 16kWh/100km.
- For public charging, the monthly fee also includes up to 200 kWh per month for customers who have their electricity tariff with Endesa (100 kWh for customers without an Endesa tariff) for free charging on Endesa's public access network, which today exceeds 6,200 charging points throughout the country.
One of the largest and highest-quality charging networks
In fact, Endesa has equipment installed, operational, or under development in all autonomous communities and in 96% of the provinces. Furthermore, it is a high-quality charging network: 98% of the charging points feature at least semi-fast chargers (22kW), while 42% rely on fast or ultra-fast technology, both in urban areas and on highways. Endesa has installed 820 ultra-fast charging points with power ranging from 150 kW to 350 kW, most of which are located near highways, and 50% of which are already operational.
Endesa’s goal for the upcoming years is to expand the charging network in line with market development and to offer its customers charging solutions wherever needed. Endesa will continue to install charging stations of all capacities, particularly focusing on fast and ultra-fast options, as part of a roll-out strategy that considers various user habits.
How to use the chargers
The entire charging process—including booking, usage, and payment—can be managed quickly and easily through Endesa’s electric mobility app, On Your Way. Users can easily download the app to their mobile device and manage their EV charging directly from their smartphone. The app offers convenient features such as payment processing, booking up to 15 minutes in advance, and a variety of tariff options to suit every user’s needs, including both monthly plans and pay-per-use rates. Additionally, when registered, and after using up the credit included in the leasing fee, users can take advantage of favourable charging rates through the available charging tariffs and create their own account with personalised preferences and payment methods, making future recharges more convenient. Registration, however, is optional. Users can also choose to use the app without signing up and pay directly with a credit card, all within the app itself.
