- Endesa X and Hyundai have reached an agreement to offer an electric mobility solution, a state-of-the-art recharging equipment installed at home. This electric mobility solution is included for all customers who purchase a Hyundai electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle.
- The pack also includes, for Hyundai customers, 2,000 km* of free recharges in Endesa X's public infrastructure (more than 2,800 stations throughout Spain) and access to the Tempo Zero Electric Vehicle tariff for their home (charging of about 10,000 km* per year at night and at zero cost, and with a certificate of renewable origin).
- The goal of this partnership agreement is to promote the gradual implementation of electric mobility in Spain.
- With Endesa X's charging app (JuicePass) and the charger included in the offer, the new JuiceBox, customers will have access to intelligent management of all their recharges from their mobile phone and the application: both at home and using Endesa X's public network.
Endesa X, a leading company in energy services and electric mobility solutions, and Hyundai, have signed a partnership agreement to facilitate customer access to electric mobility.
Together they have created an ALL-INCLUSIVE pack where customers, who entered the dealership wanting to make the leap to zero-emission mobility, leave both with their chosen electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle and with a complete recharging solution at no extra cost. And with the most advanced technology.
Davide Ciciliato, General Manager of Endesa X, stated that "we need, as a country, to move towards a more sustainable mobility and this is something we cannot do alone. Having a partner like Hyundai, with whom we share commitments and objectives, is a reason to be proud and helps us democratise the electric vehicle, to make it increasingly accessible and easy; to create an option for today rather than tomorrow in the mind of consumers. A vehicle is inseparable from its recharging requirements. That's why we work to facilitate the customer's leap to a more sustainable mobility. But our ability to deploy is not the end in itself; it is the means to offer customers the electrification solutions they will need, such as the one we are going to offer with Hyundai".
"This agreement between two leading sustainability companies is a reflection of our commitment vis-à-vis customers and therefore society to facilitating access to cleaner technologies. Endesa X, a leading company in the electrification sector, is proud to enter into this agreement with Hyundai, a leading company in the development of sustainable vehicles and the only brand in the market with the five electrified technologies", explains Leopoldo Satrústegui, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Spain.
Sustainable pack: electrified vehicle + new JuiceBox
The charger included in the sustainable pack is the new JuiceBox, which offers a connected charging experience, with all the safety features. Recharging becomes a complete, simple and seamless experience:
- Increased connectivity: the JuiceBox is connected to Endesa X's charging app (JuicePass) so that customers can manage their recharges from their mobile phone, or with the Endesa X RFID card, and from the application: both at home and using Endesa X's public network.
- More technological: the charger will be available in single-phase or three-phase version, to adapt to the charging needs of customers and the electrical installation of their property. Additionally, it is prepared to optimise the recharge, since the charging time can be set up for the customer's convenience or when it is more efficient for their home taking account of all other electricity use.
- Faster and more convenient: It can charge with up to a power of 7.4 kW (capable of adding about 100 km of autonomy in about two hours) and has an integrated cable for greater user convenience.
Kilometres of recharge included
In addition to the vehicle and the charger with its installation, Hyundai and Endesa X offer customers access to the most competitive tariffs for recharging both at home and away from home:
- At home: customers can subscribe the Tempo Zero Electric Vehicle tariff for their home, to recharge at night (from 01:00 to 07:00) at zero cost for some 10,000 km* per year and the energy also has a certificate of renewable origin. The connectivity of Hyundai vehicles and the charging app makes night charging easy to programme.
- Away from home: The pack also offers Hyundai customers about 2,000 km* of free recharges in Endesa X's public infrastructure, to be consumed for one year. Endesa X already has more than 2,800 public access chargers throughout Spain and is continuing to work to expand its network throughout the country. The JuicePass will enable access to detailed information on Endesa X's public charging network, as well as how to make a booking for a charging station, control, adjust and schedule charging sessions from anywhere.
But there are other advantages: three-year warranty on their home charging equipment and on installation and a 24/7 multilingual telephone service.
