Endesa's comprehensive Compliance system ensures adherence to all commitments and obligations toward employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Our greatest strength lies in the diversity and scope of our Compliance system, which integrates criminal law, anti-bribery measures, taxation, competition, and data protection. Each area is supported by a dedicated team, appropriate procedures, and specific tools that facilitate efficient and effective performance to ensure compliance in each of these fields.
Our hallmark is a cross-cutting and inclusive approach to each of these areas within the organisation. This is made possible by our various Committees: the Supervision, Competition, Risk, and Risk Coordination Committees report to the Audit and Compliance Committee, which in turn reports to the Board of Directors.
Additionally, Endesa holds AENOR certifications for the UNE 19601, UNE-ISO 37001, UNE 19602, and UNE 19603 standards. In 2024, we were also awarded the Fiscal Transparency Seal by Fundación Haz, which recognises Endesa as a leader in best practices among IBEX 35 companies in General Issues of Transparency and Fiscal Responsibility.

Our Criminal and Anti-Bribery Compliance System is built upon regulations, policies, and periodic risk evaluation and control actions that effectively prevent criminal offences. In 2017, we became the first IBEX 35 company to simultaneously obtain UNE 19601 and UNE-ISO 37001 certifications from AENOR , which are regularly renewed and remain valid to this day.

At Endesa, we provide Board members with a compliance welcome package and conduct specific training for new Directors. New members sign a clause committing to our Integrated System and also receive specialised training during their onboarding process.
We also facilitate continuous training by offering courses on criminal risk prevention, anti-bribery, data protection compliance, competition, tax, and ethics issues. Finally, we regularly share internal communications on our Protocols, Corporate Integrity Programmes, and Policies.
As for suppliers, we implement due diligence procedures and share updates through a dedicated mass communication channel designed specifically for them.
