The trendy duo, Marlena, presents their new song "Allá donde voy", composed especially to be the new official anthem of the Endesa Women's Basketball League.
In the purest Marlena style, "Allá donde voy" sends a message of teamwork and overcoming challenges; there are no impossible dreams – it is just a matter of desire and perseverance.
The song, available on 15 March on all platforms, was composed by Ana and Carol from Marlena together with Manel Navarro and Dennis Mansfeld, who also produces this song. As of today, you can now listen to a preview of the song on TikTok. To celebrate this launch, they will perform live at the final of the Copa de la Reina, on 24 March in Huelva.
"Writing "Allá donde voy" made us take a moment to reflect on the strong relationship between the players' careers, our own and that of music in general: daily effort, consistency, ambition, a positive attitude and, above all, the essentials of good teamwork and getting on well together," explains Marlena.
"That is why we are lucky to be able to link both worlds through this song, and help whoever listens to it to feel that motivation and energy that both sport and music generate," they add.

The project to create an anthem for the Endesa Women's League arose a little less than a year ago, as a result of the desire of Endesa and the Spanish Basketball Federation to add new audiences and attractions to a competition that is growing non-stop. Both have been collaborating since 2014, first with the utility company sponsoring the national teams of all categories, and since 2019, supporting the club-level competition, the Endesa Women’s League. In addition, they carry out the Basket Girlz project, which aims to prevent the premature abandonment of basketball among adolescent girls. It was precisely at the premiere of "The Coming of Age", the documentary that narrates the life experience of 12 girls who aspire to become professional players, that Endesa challenged Marlena to create the anthem.
"For a while, we had the idea of having an emblematic song that clubs and fans could identify with." When we met Marlena personally, it was very clear to us that they had to be the ones to make this anthem a reality," explains Ignacio Asensi, Head of Sponsorships at Endesa.
The project was born linked to a common purpose between Marlena, Endesa and the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB): To take women's basketball and music further, combining both fields, as Asensi explains, "creates a unique experience capable of transmitting, with unparalleled strength, especially to the youngest ones, the values of companionship, effort and ambition that are inherent in basketball".
For the president of the FEB, Elisa Aguilar, "the union between music and basketball will always produce positive contributions. In this case, the promotion and the impact that we are going to have with the anthem that Marlena has composed for the Endesa Women’s League will be evident in the youngest fans." For the top official of Spanish basketball, "Endesa's involvement in the growth of the competition is fundamental for the relationship between the two institutions, and projects such as the Endesa Women's League anthem show that the path travelled in the last ten years is the right one."
