  • First-Generation Solar Panels: These crystalline silicon solar cells are the most common. Their performance and long lifespan have made them a standard in the photovoltaic industry.
  • Second-Generation Photovoltaic Panels: Thin-film technologies, such as cadmium telluride and copper selenide, were introduced. These panels became thinner and more flexible, allowing for a wider range of uses.
