The price may be updated on the first of January after contracting it, in accordance with the value of the real CPI (the latest general inter-annual Consumer Price Index officially published at the time of the update), as well as because of variations suffered by the current regulated components that are applicable to electricity and gas supplies, and with possible new changes that may be approved by law.
In case of an update based on the CPI, the year-on-year CPI for November will be used. It is published on the National Statistics Institute website (https://www.ine.es/). The update will be made by adding the result of multiplying the CPI by the previous prices to the existing prices. For more information, the year-on-year CPI for November 2024 was 2.4%, the year-on-year CPI for November 2023 was 3.2%; for November 2022, it was 6.8%; for November 2021, it was 5.5%; for November 2020, it was -0.8%; and for November 2019, it was 0.4%.
If there are changes in the price of your contract, they will be transferred on to the customer both if they are upward or downward. This type of modification is regulated and completely beyond Endesa's control, applying equally to the entire country and to all companies.
In addition, the price may be reviewed one year after contracting. This would happen in April or October of each year. If there are any changes, we will let you know a month in advance. Remember that you can terminate the contract, contract another tariff from Endesa or any other company at any time.
If you contract this tariff on our website (www.endesa.com), there are no penalties if you decide to cancel. If you contract this tariff through another channel, we will be able offer you additional advantageous conditions if you accept a commitment to a minimum duration. There is no need to worry, we will let you know. If you accept it, a commitment to a minimum duration means that should you leave before the end of the first year of the contract a penalty equal to 5% of the estimated outstanding billing will be applied. This estimated outstanding billing is calculated by multiplying the non-discounted contract price at the time of termination by the estimated energy outstanding until the end of the first year of the contract.
If you have another rate, other than the Tarifa One rate, you can switch to the Tarifa One rate without any problem. However, if you have already contracted the Tarifa One rate, you cannot unsubscribe in order to contract it again.
The Tariff One contract is for one year, automatically renewable.
