Between 15 and 19 February Badalona will be a real basketball party and everyone is invited. For just a few days Endesa will combine passion for basketball with the excitement of music to create a unique experience for all those who would like to take part in six days full of activities and entertainment for people of all ages.
Endesa, together with "Jardín de las Delicias", will fill the Plaza del President Tarradellas with rhythm from Thursday 16, the day when local DJs Aina Da Silva, Pepe Reis and Albert González take the stage. On the following days this will also be the scenario for a number of outstanding events: Trap, dancehall and reggaeton by the Catalan band 31 FAM on Friday will give way on Saturday to the pop-rock band Coti. And finally, on Sunday, there will be electronic music with sessions by Dj Nano.
To all this will be added the visual and acrobatic fantasy of performances by Pablo Méndez on the Olimpic de Badalona court, as well as some additional surprises that will be confirmed in the coming days.
Sustainable transport, art and basketball with special guests
Sustainability, like music, is a great addition to the basketball "Copa del Rey". TMB will provide fans with a number of free electric bus lines every ten minutes so fans can enjoy the experience to the fullest and contribute at the same time to respecting the environment.
As well as the daily concerts and the best music at the Copa del Rey, Endesa will also have an area dedicated to basketball with activities for people of all ages where they can enjoy unique experiences and prizes.
One of the great new features available for fans who come to the Endesa Basket Lover area will be the "dynamic corner": An ever-changing area with its own calendar designed for everyone to find their own fun.
This will involve the corner having two great specialists from the world of basketball. The first, the influencer and local coach 'Coach Darío', who with his challenges and skills will perform clinic and training dynamics for Basket Lover for those looking to continue improving their skills; the second, the artist and customiser Melon Kicks, who will lead a basketball customisation workshop to unleash creativity. In the area there will be something for the whole family, including children's face painting, games of skill and basketball marksmanship.
This corner will be located in the vicinity of the Olímpic de Badalona, the venue for all the Copa del Rey 2023 games, as well as the final of the Minicopa Endesa. The rest of the matches in this competition, involving talented young players between 12 and 14 years old from the eight teams that qualified after the preliminary phase, will be played at the Poliesportiu Llefià. Real Madrid will be trying to defend its title against the other seven contenders: Joventut de Badalona, Barça, Gran Canaria, Unicaja Andalucía, UCAM Murcia Redexis, Real Betis Baloncesto and Valencia Basket.
Skills and entertainment on the court
As happened in the last Endesa Supercup in Seville, Endesa will bring fans closer to the court experience with a Skills Challenge, a one-on-one in which two fans will go onto the court to compete for unique prizes; and the Basket Lover Challenge, a giant catapult that brings out all the thrills of shooting from midfield.
And then the official mascot for the Minicopa Endesa, Garras, will host the final of the Mascot's Ball with the participation of all the mascots in the Endesa League, and will be present in the stands and on the courts to celebrate a Copa del Rey full of rhythm.
