Royal Decree 26/2020 states that there will be no supply cuts to homes as long as proof is provided that these are private individuals and they are living in their primary residence.

Once again, Endesa has decided to extend this guarantee to all residential customers, sothere will be no supply cuts or disconnections due to the non-payment of gas and electricity bills. And Endesa will not even require any kind of proof of residence.

It is possible that, after the state of emergency ended on 21 June 2020, if you are a residential customer, you received a notice that your power will be cut off due to non-payment. However, we wish to assure you that under no circumstances will such a cut take place and, in no case will such action be taken before 30 September 2020. We are also offering you the chance to defer your payments, after your particular circumstances have been duly studied.

Ensuring service continuity and quality, making life easier for our customers, safeguarding the health of our colleagues and enabling them to balance their professional and home lives are just some of the measures that we have adopted to minimise the impact of the health crisis caused by COVID-19.

At Endesa we adopted all the necessary measures to guarantee the continuity of the electricity supply service in the event of any future exceptional situation. Among other actions, we strengthened our contingency plans to guarantee the safe operation of critical infrastructures and to ensure the power supply to basic facilities such as hospitals.
