Specifically, the following companies have joined the project since its kick-off on 22 September: Ubora Autoconsumo SL, Bic Euronova SA, Talan Consulting España, Inovalis Málaga Propco Spain SL, ROJOmandarina S.COOP AND, Centro Andaluz de Investigaciones del Agua,Fund. Forces are united to complete this initiative launched by Málaga TechPark, Málaga City Council and Endesa, which will turn the park into an example of an eco-efficient city, making better use of resources – renewable, through self-consumption systems, car parks with solar energy and smart grids that enable local and shared use; innovative with respect to the current model, with the design and application of solutions to reduce, reuse and recycle materials; and digital, through collaborative platforms that improve the model based on use versus ownership and, in general, on the well-being of people.
At the end of October, five working groups will start developing the groundwork for this pioneering initiative around the circular economy, mobility, public space, digitalisation and communication.
About eCityMálaga
The eCityMálaga project aims to turn Málaga TechPark into the first sustainable urban space with an efficient, 100% renewable and digital circular city model for the future.
Málaga TechPark will respond to the challenges posed by the Sustainable Development Goals. This space will become a leader in technological innovation and a reference in sustainability for 2027, thus bringing the UN 2050 climate and energy goals forward by more than two decades.
Various companies and entities in the park have joined the eCityMálaga project to make it a reality, within an open ecosystem of public-private partnership, promoted by Endesa, Málaga TechPark and Málaga City Council.
