Juan María Moreno Mellado

Born in 1962. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering by the Polytechnic University of Madrid and PDG from IESE Business School.

Professional Development

Since his incorporation to Sevillana de Electricidad in 1989, he has been linked to the electricity sector, where he goes through the departments of Civil Engineering, Energy Planning, Management Control and Cabinet of Presidency. 

In 1997, being already part of Endesa, he was appointed Deputy Director of Immovable Economic Management, a position that he held until he became Director of Economic Management in 1998 within the General Directorate of Distribution.

In 2004 he became Economic and Control Officer of Spain and Portugal. In 2008 he was appointed Deputy General Manager of Planning and Control of Endesa and from 2012 to 2015 he was the Head of Planning and Control of the Enel Group in Rome. In 2016 was appointed General Manager Nuclear of Endesa, S.A. and in 2018 he was appointed General Manager Energy Management.

Additionally, from 2011 to 2015 he was Chairman of Chilectra.
