Through the Endesa Foundation we want to promote the development of talent and entrepreneurship, create environmental awareness and take care of our cultural heritage.
The Endesa Foundation's activity focuses on four lines of action: education, training for employment, the environment and culture. We promote projects that centre around sustainable social development, focusing on children, young entrepreneurs, professionals over the age of 50 and groups with fewer resources.
The Foundation promotes initiatives that transform education and promote innovation to bring young people closer to entrepreneurship, with programmes such as RetoTech Technological Challenge. In addition, it establishes collaborations with universities to promote excellence such as the Scholarship Programme for Academic Excellence at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.
The demands of the world of work require continuous training to adapt our skills to a changing environment. The Endesa Foundation works side-by-side with senior professionals, launching programmes such as SAVIA. It also facilitates the incorporation into the labour market of the youngest and of groups at risk of exclusion, with initiatives such as 'Cambiando Vidas' (Changing lives).
Through environmental education initiatives such as Endesa Educa the Foundation promotes efficient energy consumption and ecological culture. We also support vulnerable families in optimising their electricity bills by promoting responsible energy consumption.
The Endesa Foundation carries out activities which put the spotlight on the historical and artistic heritage of our country. Initiatives are also undertaken to support institutions that promote artistic and cultural activities and work is being done to preserve Endesa's historical legacy, which is part of the history of Spain and the evolution of electricity.
