Your digital signature, step by step
At Endesa, we have a new process for signing contracts. This new system is more convenient and secure for our clients, as you will be able to view the contract terms when you sign.
From now on, when you decide to enter into a new agreement or amend an existing contract with Endesa, you will need to go through the digital signature process to complete the operation.
It is an easy process that prioritises your security. Your digital signature allows us to confirm your identity when you enter or amend a contract and authorises you to see the contractual conditions during the process before giving your consent.
The digital signature process begins the moment our agents receive your consent. They will prepare the necessary documents and send them to your email address.
The email sent to your account provides access to a unique URL for each requested signature. If you are entering into a new agreement or amending an existing one, you will receive only one email. However, if you have requested multiple registrations or amendments, each process will have its own unique link.
Once you have clicked on the provided link, we will guide you on how to follow the digital signature process step-by-step simply and easily:
- Before clicking on the "Sign" button, check and confirm the home address and CUPS in the email.
- After verifying that your details are correct and clicking on "Sign", select your preferred language.
- Next, enter your Tax ID (NIF) to verify your identity.
- You will be taken to a screen displaying your personal details: e-mail, NIF, full name, and telephone number.
Check again that the details are correct. If your mobile phone or email details are incorrect, our agents will promptly correct them, and you will receive a new email containing the updated document. If, however, the incorrect details include the NIF, first name, or surname, the agents will create a new offer to restart the process. In any case, there's no need for concern.
- You will then be able to access your contract to review the terms.
- Read it carefully, and once you are satisfied and wish to proceed, click on "Mark as read".
- Upon confirming that you have read the document, you will receive an SMS containing a one-time PIN. For each document, the PIN will be different, as it is linked to each contract.
- As the final step to complete and accept the signature, enter this PIN number and click "Sign". This step is crucial, as failing to complete the signature process will prevent us from initiating the registration or amendment process.
- After you complete the digital signature, a confirmation screen will appear, and you will receive a new email containing all the details of your request, which you can refer to at any time. You can also access your contract at any time from the Endesa Customer Area or from the Endesa Clients App.
SIf you have not completed the digital signature within 24 hours, thus finalising the contract, you will receive a new SMS reminder. After nine days, the sign-up application will be cancelled. Remember that we cannot begin the process of registering your supply or make the necessary amendments to your electricity, gas, or services contract until you have signed digitally.
