A plan for a just energy transition

Through the Futur-e plans and new energy projects, we promote a just transition in the area of end-of-life thermal power plants.

Plans for the closure of coal plants and their reconversion

Our goal is to achieve full decarbonization by 2040. The closure of all coal plants, initially planned for 2030, will be completed three years earlier than expected, in 2027. Around the closing plants, we are promoting various initiatives to have a positive impact on the local communities from a social, environmental and economic point of view.

A commitment to sustainable development

The energy transition must be fair, sustainable and inclusive. All our projects aim to create shared value, both in terms of the socio-economic development of local communities and in terms of respect for the environment and biodiversity of our host sites.
