4 out of every 10 electric vehicle chargers installed by Endesa in the last year were high-power chargers

A large proportion of these charging points are located along major road corridors and in areas close to highways to support long-distance travel.

In addition to this network, more than 1,300 charging points have already been installed and are currently awaiting the administrative authorisations required for connection to the electricity distribution grid, the final step before entering service. Endesa also has a pipeline of projects at different stages of development that will be deployed over the next two years, enabling the company to remain one of the country's leading charging network operators.

The company's objective over the coming years remains to continue expanding the public charging network in line with market growth, providing charging solutions wherever users need them. To achieve this, Endesa will continue installing chargers of all power levels, with a particular focus on fast and ultra-fast charging, adapting to different usage patterns in every environment.

How to use Endesa's public chargers

To use Endesa's public chargers, users simply need to download the Endesa charging app, available for iOS and Android. Through the app, users can monitor and manage the entire charging process, locate available charging points using the integrated map, plan routes, reserve chargers up to 15 minutes in advance, and pay directly from their mobile phone.

Users can register with a Facebook or Google account, or by email, giving them access to preferential pricing and allowing them to create an account with their own preferences and payment methods. However, registration is not mandatory: the app can also be used and charging sessions paid for by card without creating an account.

Endesa also offers a wide range of tariffs tailored to different user profiles. For customers who charge regularly and are looking for the best value, there is the "E-Smart" subscription tariff. For those who prefer greater flexibility, the "E-Flex" pay-as-you-go tariff allows users to pay only for the energy they consume. These options enable every customer to choose the tariff that best suits their needs at any given time.

Facilitating electric mobility

The company also makes electric mobility more accessible through Endesa Drive, a comprehensive service that combines vehicle leasing, home charger installation and exclusive benefits for charging at home and on the public charging network within a single monthly fee. This all-inclusive electric leasing service includes installation of a smart home charger (Waybox) with load balancing and enables users to manage charging directly from the Endesa app. In addition, Endesa Drive includes bonus kWh for charging on Endesa's public charging network, together with access to the "Recarga en Casa" tariff for home charging, making everyday EV use even easier while maximising the value of the bonus kWh available on Endesa's public charging network.

Endesa also offers additional solutions to meet every customer's needs. For example, users who already own an electric vehicle may only require a home charger and the most suitable electricity tariff, or simply the best prices for home charging. To meet these needs, Endesa has recently launched a tariff with a monthly fee that provides enough home charging to drive up to 15,000 km per year for less than €32 per month (taxes included). If customers also purchase the charger and installation together with this tariff, the monthly cost falls to €22 and includes a 20% discount on charging across Endesa's public charging network.
