- Integrated eco-friendly transport solutions for transportation operators.
- Comprehensive energy efficiency for the renovation of centralized building climate systems, as well as the decarbonization of gas or diesel boilers by replacing them with high-temperature heat pumps.
- Installation of solar plants for buildings, either as individual systems or in shared savings and local energy community models.
- Systems for connecting ships to the onshore power grid while docked to prevent pollution from auxiliary engines used to maintain onboard operations.
- Energy management services using Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence, and data standardization to continuously measure and control energy consumption, making it more efficient.
- Planning of Smart City services based on actual demand through the collection, study, and systematic processing of Big Data.
All these topics will be covered by José María Reyes, Head of Green Ports Business Development at Endesa, on September 24 during his participation in the forum "Sustainable Infrastructures: Green Ports." He will explain Endesa's commitment to port area decarbonization through the e-Port initiative, which focuses on renewable energy generation and shared consumption, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, and circular economy, with concrete examples like the Port of Bahía de Cádiz, where Endesa will be the first company nationwide to offer electricity supply services to cruise ships through an OPS (On-Shore Power Supply) installation.
All of this is possible thanks to Endesa's role as a technological partner, providing support to businesses, professionals, institutions, and public administrations in digitalization and energy efficiency processes through a platform of digitized infrastructures and innovative services.
New Chairman of the Organizing Committee
Recently, Rafael Sánchez Durán, General Director of Endesa in Andalusia, Extremadura, Ceuta, and Melilla, assumed the presidency of the Organizing Committee of Greencities & S-Moving, Urban Intelligence, and Smart Mobility. This committee consists of over a hundred professional experts from national organizations. Its objective is to advise the management team on the strategic planning of the event and provide relevant industry information for the development of the content program. These appointments coincide with the renewal of the event for its next edition, which, through a 360-degree concept, presents a comprehensive vision and analysis of cities and smart, sustainable mobility.
