- Endesa, the City Council of Badalona and Tusgsal, the municipal public transport company, have put completely free, electric special bus lines into operation from this Wednesday until Sunday, February 19.
The City Council of Badalona, Endesa and Tusgsal presented a special public transport plan that will connect the headquarters of the Minicopa Endesa and the Copa del Rey with the different activity areas in the city of Badalona throughout the week with a network of electric buses. A three-sided agreement with the support of the ACB will enable travel to the neuralgic points of national basketball from Wednesday until Sunday, 19 February.
Endesa, Badalona City Council and Tusgsal are committed to an open and sustainable transport model, and are making a fully electric shuttle-bus service available to all Basketball Lovers free of charge. They run every ten minutes, so the Poliesportiu Llefià and the Palau Municipal d’Esports in Badalona will be closer than ever for fans to be able to enjoy the two competitions that will be held here.
The event was attended by Rubén Guijarro, mayor of Badalona; Anna Maria Lara, Councillor for Culture and Mobility in the City Council of Badalona; José Miguel Calleja, General Manager of the ACB, Enric Brazis, Endesa's head of institutional relations in Catalonia, José Antonio Parra, Deputy General Manager of Tusgsal, Juan Antonio Morales, President of Joventut Badalona, and Joventut players Vladimir Brodziansky and Pep Busquets.
The lines enabled will be the SE1, with the Gorg – Llefià – Gorg route running every ten minutes from 8.30am to 6.30pm, the SE2 line, with the Gorg – Centre – Montigalà – Gorg route running every ten minutes from 11.30am to6.30pm, and a special shuttle for Friday night on the Gorg – La Nit de la Copa – Centre – Gorg route to enjoy the "Nit de la Copa" organised by the City Council in the Can Ribó polygon.
