We’re working to support cities, businesses, and individuals in their transition towards the electrification and decarbonisation of transport.
Transport is responsible for 30% of all greenhouse gas emissions in Spain. That’s why it’s essential to push for a global transformation of mobility that reduces these emissions and helps meet the European environmental targets to fight climate change.
To facilitate the shift to electric mobility in Spain, we’re focusing on two key areas:
We currently have over 26,000 operational charging points, both public and private (as at the end of 2024). Our goal for the coming years is to broaden our charging network in line with market growth, ensuring charging solutions are available wherever customers need them.
Endesa operates the largest public-access charging network in Spain, with 6,187 charging stations installed. Of these, 5,054 are currently active. In addition, 416 of these stations are ultra-fast chargers (819 charging points) with outputs of 150 kW or more.
Our charging infrastructure is very easy to use: simply download the Endesa charging app and sign up as a customer or by entering your credit card information to charge your vehicle. We recommend signing up to access more competitive rates.
Endesa’s charging infrastructure is also interoperable. This means it can be accessed through the apps of other companies with which we have interoperability agreements in place.
After completing the rollout of charging infrastructure in municipalities with more than 35,000 inhabitants, we are now focusing on developing next-generation charging hubs that offer a comprehensive user experience.
This includes improving the availability of ultra-fast high-power charging at strategic locations along the country’s main transport routes. We have already successfully launched several projects, such as the Eurotrack for light and heavy-duty vehicles on the A-2 highway, the Parc Vallés shopping centre in Catalonia, and Sercotel Hotel Plaza Feria in Aragon.
Our recent agreement with Carrefour will enable us to offer EV charging services to its customers, while Hyperdino shoppers have already been benefiting from this service through payment terminals since earlier this year. Additionally, our commitment to current partners such as SABA, McDonald’s, Parkia, Consum, Marriot, ePark, Barceló, Transgourmet, Amavir, and Vitas Hospitals, among others, remains strong.
The vast majority of trips made by Spanish drivers are short-distance journeys (less than 50 km). Private charging is the most effective solution to cover these routes.
We support the installation of charging technology for individuals, businesses, corporations, and vehicle fleets.
When someone decides to purchase an electric vehicle, it should be as easy as going to their dealership and leaving with everything taken care of—no need to worry about where to charge their new car. We share this vision with major manufacturers such as Hyundai, KIA, and Jaguar Land Rover, with whom we have agreements to offer a comprehensive solution from day one.
Following this same philosophy, we've also launched other solutions like ParkElectric, created in collaboration with SABA , created in collaboration with SABA, to provide an option for customers without private garages. The aim is to offer them a rental parking space, exclusive-use charging equipment, and a monthly kWh allowance.
We also offer OneElectric, a solution designed to provide corporate fleets with an all-inclusive package in a single payment. This initiative was launched in partnership with Athlon and includes agreements with other rental services like ALD.
To improve customer experience and respond to market demands, we have redesigned our tariff offering. The new tariffs will offer more options and benefits for users, allowing them to select alternatives tailored to their needs.
Through our commitment to sustainable mobility and the decarbonisation of transport, we aim to contribute to a cleaner and more accessible future for everyone. We work to provide solutions aligned with market needs, ensuring an efficient charging experience for every user.
