- The eighth edition of the Electric Vehicle Fair in Madrid (VEM2023) will be held from 8 to 10 September in the Plaza de Colón.
- Endesa X Way will once again be present with a stand located in the central corridor of the exhibition area to display its ecosystem of electric mobility solutions.
A new edition of the Madrid Electric Vehicle Fair (VEM) is just around the corner and Endesa X Way, which has been present since it started 8 years ago, will participate again this September. The 8th edition will take place as usual in the Plaza de Colón in Madrid and will be held between 8 and 10 September within the framework of European Mobility Week.
At its stand, which will once again be in the main corridor, Endesa X Way, Endesa's business line dedicated exclusively to electric mobility, will have a large space dedicated to providing information on its recharging solutions, offers and services to make the transition to zero-emission mobility easier. A whole ecosystem of interconnected and intelligent products and services, essential to extend and facilitate access to the world of electric mobility. For example, we will show the recharging solutions for individuals with the Waybox charger, a smart, connected piece of equipment for recharging electric vehicles at home, which enables customised, autonomous management of domestic recharging. All smart charging stations can be managed and controlled directly from a smartphone with the Endesa X Way application which also gives access to the public charging network.
There will also be information on the comprehensive charging service for companies, where interested parties can obtain information with regard to recharging their electric fleets, advice on the electrification options for their companies and innovative value-added services framed within the ecosystem of electric mobility.
Endesa X Way will have a team of experts at their stand to advise those attending with regard to the company's different options. During the days prior to VEM 2023 lasts and while it lasts, a special channel will be opened in our social networks which will answer any queries that may arise in this regard.
Those attending will also find information about the Public Infrastructure Plan, the most ambitious in Spain, which has already installed more than 4,800 charging stations throughout the country (in addition to more than 300,000 public charging stations throughout Europe), one of the highest quality charging networks in Europe: Over 40% of chargers are fast or ultra-fast charging network (more than 60 kW), compared to an average of 15 to 20% for all charging stations installed in Spain. Of the total, almost 300 stations provide ultra-fast charging, with powers between 150 kW and 350 kW, which is currently the highest for vehicle charging, and the goal is to double that figure by the end of this year. This HPC (High Power Charging) network is already operative in 12 of the 17 Spanish Autonomous Communities and in more than half of the provinces.
The VEM fair is organised by the Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility, AEDIVE in Spanish, with the collaboration of the Madrid City Council. Endesa X Way has been a member of AEDIVE since April 2015 and is currently represented on the Board of Directors. The aim of VEM 2023 is to provide an excellent exhibition space and to inform all those interested with regard to the latest developments on both electric vehicles and the necessary charging infrastructure.
The previous edition, held in 2022, was attended by almost 30,000 people who came to the Plaza de Colón to learn about the proposals offered by some fifty electric mobility exhibitors.
