- The company has improved its Única tariff with base prices that represent less than half of what currently stands on the wholesale market.
- The offer gives security and peace of mind to regulated tariff consumers in the face of market fluctuations by guaranteeing a fixed price, without being restricted by time bands and with no minimum duration.
Endesa has reinforced its commercial offer to give security and peace of mind to consumers on the regulated market and facing the escalation of wholesale market prices. From this Tuesday Endesa is improving the Única tariff, a personalised flat-rate tariff, which will be calculated on a base price of 58 euros per MWh and which will remain fixed and unchanged for two years.
This will enable the nearly 11 million consumers covered by the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC) who opt for the Endesa Única Tariff to get a two-year guarantee that they will pay the same every month and at a price that is less than half that one currently established by the pool. This offer is also valid for all new contracts on the free market.
With this offer, Endesa gives all consumers who are currently on the regulated market an alternative that enables them to mitigate the negative effects that the increase in the price of energy is having on their bills, and not to worry about any price increases that there may be in the future.
Endesa launched Única in November last year with a ground breaking model consisting of a personalised fixed quota adapted to the individual consumption of each client, with 100% renewable energy, with no minimum contract duration and with bonuses to consumers for meeting efficient consumption objectives. The monthly quota is always the same, regardless of the time of day energy is consumed and with no regularisations. A new quota will only be proposed if consumption is 30% higher than the previous year.
The tariff, which allows electricity, gas and additional services to be contracted, is part of a catalogue of commercial alternatives that Endesa currently offers to its 5.7 million customers on the free market.
All Endesa's free market tariffs enjoy stable prices that are not subject to wholesale market variations. The price is fixed and guaranteed for at least the first year of contracting. Furthermore, the current level is well below the wholesale market price that is applied in the regulated market. And there is no minimum duration clause.
