Border free
Electric mobility has no limits and knows no borders.
In this stage we cross over into neighbouring Portugal to enjoy the delights of Lisbon.
The journey
Today we leave Endesa headquarters in Quinta da Fonte - Paço de Arcos and we get to know the experience of Nuno Ribeiro, Director General of Endesa in Portugal, driving a Kia Soul ev to Lisbon. A trip that takes us along the coast to the most emblematic spots in the city.
Belém, the Jerónimos Monastery, Plaza del Comercio or Plaza del Rossio are some of the places we will pass through in support of the sustainable car.
At the end of the journey we reach Alto del Parque Eduardo VII, where they are waiting for us next to the large Portuguese flag in this park. A viewpoint with beautiful landscapes that invite us to stay.

Get to know the cars from the stage
The 2nd Tour of Spain in Electric Vehicle uses two kinds of efficient vehicle currently on the market:
The Kia Soul EV, with zero emissions, electric autonomy of up to 250 km and innovative technology that enables recovering up to 12% of kinetic energy; the battery recharges when braking and in retention.
On our journey, we also used the Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid (Niro PHEV) that combines major versatility with very low fuel consumption and emissions. Therefore, it has the ZERO label and can drive free of restrictions during the high contamination episodes in major cities. It enjoys bonuses when parked in regulated areas. The 100% electric version of this model comes out on the market soon.
