Our collaboration at COP25 stems from our involvement in the fight against climate change. On the road to decarbonization we are committed to renewable energy, the circular economy and sustainable mobility to achieve a new emission-free energy model.
In our strategic plan up to 2023 we have approved an annual investment of €1.5 billion in renewable energy. A commitment that will transform our country with development opportunities for especially sensitive areas, such as those in the countryside. Over the last year our environmental investments grew 4.3% to €1,705 million. And CO₂ emissions have been reduced by almost 40% compared to 2015.
The pillars of Endesa's fight against climate change are electric mobility, renewable and clean energy sources and technological innovation both in distribution networks and in home and business solutions.
Discover the pillars that underpin our climate-related activities and the projects that we undertake below:

At Endesa, we identify water as a strategic and critical resource that is being affected by climate change. We work to preserve and make efficient use of it.
