Espacio Zity, the most anticipated event during the Fiestas del Pilar, has a completely new feature this year: Caring for the environment together with Endesa. The energy company is participating in the festival for the first time as a sponsor, with the emphasis on sustainability.
As well as a line-up with big names in the music industry such as Quevedo, Lola Indigo and Pablo López, Espacio Zity, which will be held from 6 to 14 October at the Valdespartera Convention Centre, is looking this year to strengthen its commitment to the environment. Endesa's support will enable the implementation of specific measures and actions to reduce the environmental impact of the festival and make it more respectful with the environment where it will be held.
Endesa, a leader in the energy sector and committed to the transition to a more sustainable model, is noted for its support for projects that promote the development and preservation of the environment. Now Espacio Zity has joined the list of festivals that are already a part of Endesa Music Lover, an initiative in which the energy company reaffirms its commitment to promoting culture and reducing the impact of the carbon footprint in music festivals and concerts.
This collaboration was presented this Thursday during a press conference held at the Tres Mares Restaurant. Ignacio Montaner, General Manager of Endesa in Aragón, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration and pointed out that "sustainability is very important and an energy company like Endesa needs to participate actively".
María Lacasa, Brand and Sponsorship Manager, confirmed that "the objective is to reach a younger audience and to do it through a message that is deeply rooted with us, and this is sustainability." This year, the energy company is seeking to grow and develop in this line, "we are looking for allies that are the best in their field and the best include Espacio Zity" concluded Lacasa.
The promoter of Espacio Zity, Michel Pérez, also celebrated this collaboration and assured us that "the goal is a 100% sustainable enclosure." The festival was already a pioneer when it came to implementing re-usable glasses in 2018 and now Endesa's support will enable "the maximum channelling of clean energy".
This alliance is proof of the commitment of Endesa and Espacio Zity to offering a unique, sustainable experience to those attending the festival. They are working together towards one goal: Zero emissions, to build a greener future.
Support for Zaragoza's musical talent was provided at the press conference a performance by Rada Mancy, an artist of Venezuelan origin who surprised everyone with her fresh, urban sound.
Espacio Zity aims to use all this to set an example of how sustainability can be an essential feature of large-scale events and lay the foundations for a greener future in the entertainment industry.
