- The ninth edition of the Electric Vehicle Fair in Madrid (VEM2024) will take place from September 13 to 15 at Plaza de Colón, with the main goal of bringing zero-emission mobility closer to both private individuals and professionals (fleets), in both the public and private sectors.
- Endesa will once again be present to showcase its entire ecosystem of electric mobility solutions with a booth located in the central aisle of the exhibitor area.
The new edition of the Madrid Electric Vehicle Fair (VEM) is just around the corner, and Endesa, which has been present since its inception 9 years ago, will participate once again this September. The 9th edition of the event will take place, as usual, at Plaza de Colón in the capital and will be held between September 13 and 15, as part of European Mobility Week.
At its booth, once again located in the main aisle, Endesa will feature a large space dedicated to presenting all its charging solutions, offers, and services to facilitate the transition to zero-emission mobility. A whole ecosystem of interconnected and intelligent products and services, essential for expanding and facilitating access to the world of electric mobility. Visitors will be able to see, for example, the charging solutions for individuals with the Waybox charger, a smart and connected device for charging electric vehicles at home, allowing personalized and autonomous home charging management. All smart charging points can be managed and controlled directly from a smartphone using Endesa’s charging app, which also provides access to the public charging network.
Additionally, we will provide information on our comprehensive charging service for businesses, where interested parties can learn about charging solutions for their electric fleets, receive advice on electrification options for their companies, and explore innovative value-added services within the electric mobility ecosystem.
At the fair booth, Endesa’s team of experts will be available to advise attendees on the company’s various options. Moreover, in the days leading up to and during VEM 2024, a special channel will be opened on major social media platforms to answer any questions that may arise.
Attendees will also find information about Endesa’s Public Infrastructure Plan, one of the most ambitious in the country. For over a decade, Endesa has been advancing its commitment to facilitating electric mobility for all users, not only in cities with various charging types suited to different needs in parking lots, shopping centers, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, etc., but also by investing in urban and suburban public charging, as well as ultra-fast highway charging, ensuring users have no concerns when making long-distance trips. In fact, within its public charging infrastructure development plan, Endesa has deployed more than 5,800 charging points across Spain, utilizing all available technologies. Of these, more than 40% feature fast or ultra-fast charging technology, both in urban and highway environments. Nearly 700 of these points use ultra-fast technology with power outputs ranging from 150 kW to 300 kW, most of them located near highways. This HPC (High Power Charging) network is already deployed in 12 of Spain’s 17 autonomous communities and in more than half of its provinces.
The VEM fair is organized by the Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility, AEDIVE, in collaboration with the Madrid City Council. Endesa has been a member of AEDIVE since April 2015 and is currently part of its Board of Directors. VEM 2024 serves as an excellent exhibition space to introduce all interested parties to the latest developments in both electric vehicles and the necessary charging infrastructure.
