Endesa has made an investment of 90,000 euros for the installation of new protection, control and remote control systems in the distribution network that supplies energy to the Huesca towns of Graus, Benabarre and Castejón de Sos.
The action represents a direct improvement in quality for 1,000 customers dependent on this electrical node and will serve to increase the safety and reliability of the facilities, automate their operation and minimise the replacement time in case of incident.
The new equipment and systems, which have been installed on the Perarrúa-Arias, Perarrúa-Laguarres and Seira-Villanova distribution lines, will improve the management of the network by carrying out remote and real-time manoeuvres from the Endesa Control Centre, located in Zaragoza.
The actions carried out represent the continuation of a series of investments made over the last few years and are part of the facilities improvement programme developed annually by the Company in order to consolidate the quality of service and adapt to the evolution of demand.
