- More than 12,000 "estancos" will be able to offer this service, which will be progressively implemented over the coming months.
- Logista Payments will facilitate the management of the payment of Endesa customers' bills not subject to direct debit by means of simple operational and marketing management in the "estancos".
Endesa has reached an agreement with Logista Payments, a subsidiary of Logista, a leading distributor of products and services to local shops in southern Europe, for customers to be able to pay their electricity bills not subject to direct debit through those "estancos" throughout Spain who agree to provide the Invoice Payment Service.
The network of "estancos" (tobacconist's that also sell postage stamps, official documents, etc), with over 12,000 outlets in Spain, is one of the most extensive, capillary and familiar points of sale for customers, so this agreement greatly increases the options for clients, especially in underpopulated rural areas.
In this way, Logista Payments will make it easier for Endesa clients to manage the payment of their bills not subject to direct debit by means of simple operational and marketing management in the "estancos", with the support of Logista's Transactional Platform. The millions of electronic recharges of different kinds (telephone, transport, e-money, digital content, etc.) managed in Spain are proof of the company's extensive experience in this field.
Logista Payments was founded with a view to meeting the connectivity requirements of users and companies in an environment increasingly affected by depopulation and the deceasing capillarity of currently existing solutions and to enabling Endesa clients to enjoy greater access to and availability of services.
This agreement consolidates Endesa as a leader in its segment, by improving the service it provides to its customers in all parts of the cycle, by understanding the management of payment as just one more extension to customer service and attention to the user, and it positions Logista and its subsidiaries as leading companies in the retail channels they target.
This new Invoice Payment Service will be progressively implemented over the coming months and will increase the payment alternatives for Endesa customers beyond the existing networks currently available for payment to be made in person, direct debit, online payment and payment through an app or by phone.
