How to save on heating? Finding effective ways to save on household energy consumption is always interesting; we know that one of the systems that can most increase the amount of the invoice is heating.
But how can we choose the heating that is most suitable for us? Each heating system has its advantages and disadvantages depending on the kind of household, among other factors.
Among all existing climatisation systems the heat pump is the one that is the most energy efficient, because it enables attaining higher calorific power with lower energy consumption. This is because it does not generate heat by means of combustion; instead, it is a system similar to the refrigerator but the inverse: it enables extracting heat from the outside, albeit at a low temperature, and sending it inside the house.
This climatisation method does not burn anything to heat, does not give off smoke and does not lead to combustion of any sort. This is energy that only needs electricity to attain the required temperature and that may entail an energy consumption saving of up to 70% in comparison to other systems.
Moreover, because heat pump climatisation is based on environmental heat, it is considered renewable energy and, therefore, complies with the Paris Agreement - an undertaking to reduce emissions adopted by more than 170 countries. Because of this, aside from economic reasons, this is a sustainable option now and in the future.
