The Kosner Baskonia player has been crowned Endesa Top Scorer for the 2025–26 season after averaging 18.7 points per game in a campaign marked by consistency and his love for the three-point shot. "It has been one of the most enjoyable seasons of my career," admits the Frenchman.
No player averaged more points per game than him. Following a closely contested race in the final weeks for the Endesa Top Scorer award, Baskonia player Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot maintained his consistency to secure this important recognition.
This is the second year that Endesa has presented this award, which, as in the previous season, recognizes the league's top scorer each week. The only exception came in Rounds 12, 13, and 14, counted as a single total, crowning precisely Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot as the "Endesa Christmas Top Scorer." Earlier, he had been the leading scorer in Round 9 with 26 points.
Only David DeJulius, James Batemon, and Santi Yusta (three-time Endesa Top Scorer of the Round) surpassed him, while Shannon Evans, Cameron Hunt, Marcelinho Huertas, Francis Alonso, Oriol Paulí, Justin Jaworski, Mario Hezonja, and Markus Howard matched his two selections.
Finally, Gio Shermadini, Trent Forrest, Dylan Ennis, Michael Forrest, Devontae Cacok, Luka Bozic, Patty Mills, and Kyle Kuric also finished once as Endesa Top Scorer.

Luwawu-Cabarrot's consistency was unmatched from start to finish. In 30 of the 32 games he played, he reached double digits in points (his lowest scoring game was 8 points, on two occasions), and in 16 of them, exactly half, he scored at least 20 points.
Furthermore, in 75% of his league appearances (24 of 32), the Frenchman consistently scored between 15 and 24 points, a testament to his regularity. His most frequent point totals were 15, 19, and 21 points (four times each), while his season-high came in Round 25, when he scored 27 points against BAXI Manresa.
A seven-game streak scoring in the 20s, between Rounds 7 and 13, solidified his lead until the end of the season, although in the final weeks both Mario Hezonja (17.5) and especially David DeJulius (17.8) competed to take the Endesa Top Scorer award from him. His 18.7 points per game ultimately proved unreachable.
The Kosner Baskonia player earned the award thanks to his sharpshooting from beyond the arc, as he was also the top three-point scorer in the 2025–26 Endesa League. No one matched his 2.9 three-pointers per game, ranking 11th in percentage (41.5%) in the league. Additionally, he ranked 5th in free-throw percentage (90.1%), 6th in free throws made per game (4.6), while also averaging 3 two-point field goals per game (30th) with a 54.5% success rate (42nd). Simply unstoppable.
Luwawu-Cabarrot: "It has been one of the most enjoyable seasons of my career"
"Being the Endesa Top Scorer means a lot to me. I just wanted to give 100% to help in any way I could. I hate letting my team down. I hate stepping onto the court and not giving my maximum effort."
"My numbers improved thanks to the confidence from the coaching staff and teammates. We understand each other well, and they give me the trust and freedom to shoot and score."
"Our fans give us energy, character, strength, and focus. There have been legends at this club, and we have to follow the path they set."
"The team's system allowed me to score a lot. I am proud to be part of this and to be ahead of great scorers, incredible players on the court."
"It has been one of the most enjoyable seasons of my career, if not the most enjoyable. I would definitely rank it among the top two seasons of my career."
A club of legends
The French small forward of Kosner Baskonia joins an exclusive club full of legendary names in the league, something he could hardly have imagined last season when he finished 31st in the top scorers list with 11.4 points per game.
From now on, Luwawu-Cabarrot shares honors with some of the greatest scorers in Endesa League history. Among them, only Jaycee Carroll, Lou Roe, John Morton, and Ray Smith (twice), as well as Velimir Perasovic and Andy Panko (three times) have repeated at the top of the scoring chart. A new challenge for Timothé?
