- Endesa becomes the exclusive partner in the home energy sector of Club DIA, which has almost six million active members.
- Club DIA customers who hire their energy supply with the company, as well as maintenance services with Endesa X, will benefit from an initial cheque of up to €100 to buy in DIA and a coupon of up to €7 each month.
Endesa and DIA have joined forces to offer customers of the supermarket chain the possibility of contracting their energy supply with exclusive advantages. Both companies have sealed this agreement by which Endesa becomes the exclusive partner in the home energy sector of Club DIA, which has almost six million active members spread throughout Spain. This alliance allows Endesa to expand sales channels to reach new customers thanks to the extensive reach of the supermarket network, while DIA reinforces the advantages and discounts that it offers through its loyalty club with a strategic partner in a key area for homes such as energy.
The alliance, the first agreement signed by Endesa with a retailer in the consumer goods segment, launches DIA’s strategic alliances with associated partners in its loyalty club. The agreement will allow Club DIA customers who contract the exclusive energy rates that Endesa has designed for them, as well as the maintenance services of Endesa X -the line of business that offers innovative solutions that support the energy transition- to benefit from a welcome discount coupon of up to €100 to make supermarket purchases. A loyalty coupon of up to €7 will be added to this initial check every month and forever as long as they maintain the contract with the electricity company and the link with Club DIA. More advantages and products will also be added throughout the agreement.
"The extensive reach of DIA's supermarket network, with more than 2,700 establishments spread throughout Spain, and the loyalty of Club DIA's members represent a great opportunity to bring Endesa's products closer to new customers. The benefit for partners is two-fold: competitive energy prices and exclusive discounts that are maintained over time" said Maite González García, Head of Residential and Small Business at Endesa.
"We are confident that our customers will welcome the attractive energy plan that Endesa has created for them. The agreement is key for DIA because it has been the first partner to join this new advantage associated with our loyalty programme. Endesa will soon be joined by other leading companies from important sectors that will also provide innovative benefits for Club DIA members", explained Rafael Sánchez Sendarrubias, Chief Customer Officer for DIA.
The promotion will be announced to DIA customers through Club DIA coupons, the app and the chain's website and at Endesa's stands placed in DIA supermarkets in strategic locations.
The alliance with Endesa brings a new benefit for Club DIA members, who already enjoy personalised discount coupons based on purchase preferences of up to 50% and lower prices on a multitude of items.
This agreement is part of the firm commitment that DIA is making to boost its loyalty programme and offer its members more advantages associated with Club DIA, among other initiatives.
