Energy Efficiency has become one of the most relevant topics today. After the rise in energy prices following the Ukrainian War, sustainability and it has become essential to take into account energy saving, both for ordinary consumers and for institutions, which promote shock measures for responsible consumption, favouring sustainable development, a key feature in the fight against climate change.

But helping the planet all by yourself seems like a very complex and never-ending task. That is why Endesa believes that offering you the best (and most efficient) solutions contributes to saving and, above all, to greater satisfaction in knowing that you are doing things properly.

To make you aware that being efficient not only benefits the planet but also your pocket, we launched the "To be efficient and save, everything counts" campaign. Providing access to the best efficient solutions.

It is estimated that 65% of people in Spain are concerned about energy efficiency and are seeking advice to reduce their consumption. But at the same time, we all know that we could do more than we are doing, although we tend to think that individual actions will not change anything.

What does Rewarding Your Efficiency consist of?

We launched the We reward your efficiency campaign with a very clear and simple objective: To reward your efforts. We propose a quarterly challenge: During each calendar quarter of 2023, your consumption is compared to the reference period for the previous year. If you reduce your consumption, for each kWh you save we will discount another on your bill, so all your efforts count double.

From small gestures in your daily life like changing the bulbs for LEDs that are more efficient and can mean 50% savings in lighting, turning off those appliances that you are not using, filling the washing machine before switching it on, using the ECO mode on the dishwasher, reducing the brightness of screens so they consume less energy, etc. And investing in more efficient equipment with better energy classification or installing solar panels, which can lead to savings of up to 70% in electricity consumption. Every little gesture is much more important than you think.

Joining the We Reward Your Efficiency challenge is very simple, you just have to go your Client Area, if you meet the terms and conditions, we will inform you of the challenge you can join.

Tips to reduce your consumption

Once you start taking part in the challenge, we put our InfoEnergía service at your disposal,  a free assessment tool through which you receive customised tips to save up to 16% more energy and be more efficient.

We calculate that a household can save on average about €120 per year with some very simple tips such as: Correctly adjusting the temperature of the refrigerator, which would mean saving €28 per year; changing half of the light bulbs at home for LED bulbs, enabling you to save an average of €24 per year, or using a heat pump for heating, which can reduce energy expenditure by 70%.
