Miguel Ángel García López

Born in Córdoba (Spain) in 1982. Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Nebrija University. Earned a Master’s Degree in Security and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention from the National University of Distance Education (UNED). Holds an Advanced Diploma in Integrated Security Management and Direction in Private Security from UNED. Security Director and Private Security Firearms Instructor, officially certified by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior.
Certified by the Guardia Civil Training Directorate in the specialities of Judicial Police, Nature Protection, EOD Search Specialist and Economic and Technical Management, among others.
Professional background
Twenty-four years of professional experience in the Guardia Civil (Civil Guard), reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Senior Officers Corps. Held various positions of responsibility in public safety units in Almería and Madrid, including in investigative units of the Nature Protection Service (SEPRONA) and in the Directorate-General for Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity. Furthermore, he served for nine years in the Security Service of the Royal Household of H.M. the King of Spain.
Joined Endesa in December 2025, serving as Manager within the Corporate Security Directorate until 31 January 2026.
