José Casas Marín
Born in 1965. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI (1989) and studied the General Management Program (PDG) at IESE (2005).
Career path
He began his professional career in 1989, working independently as a Project Engineer and Supervisor of Medium-and Low-Voltage Electricity Installation Projects. In 1990 he joined Arthur Andersen, where he rose to the position of Audit Manager responsible for the Energy, Telecommunications and Industrial Sector areas. His career at Endesa began in 2000 when he assumed the position of General Director of Tariffs, Tolls and Commercial Function in the Distribution area. Shortly thereafter, he simultaneously took over the Endesa Red Settlements and Regulation and Regulation Departments within Endesa's Energy Management Department. In 2004 he was appointed General Subdirector of Strategy, Regulation, Environment and Sustainable Development for Spain and Portugal, and in 2010 General Director of Regulation and Environment (2010-2014). Since 2014 he has held the position of General Director of IR and Regulation.
