All about the 1 month's free electricity consumption promotion
We will clarify all your queries about Endesa's "1 month's free electricity consumption for life" promotion.
Below, you will find a list with the most frequently asked questions about the promotion, as well as the links corresponding to the legal terms and conditions that include all the information. This promotion is only valid for sign-ups between 01/10/2021 and 13/06/2022.
The 1 month's free electricity promotion is only applicable to the energy term, that is, the electricity consumed in kWh during the subsidised month.
The remaining amounts: tolls, power, taxes, etc. do not depend directly on Endesa so they are not included in the discount.

The promotion only applies to new contracts made until midnight on 03/30/2022 for the following Endesa tariffs:
- One Luz Tariff: "1 month's free electricity consumption per year forever".
- Happy Tariffs: "1 month's free electricity consumption per year forever".
- One Luz or Happy + OKLuz Support Tariff: for the first year the bonus is increased to 1 and a half months.
- One Luz or Happy + Gas + OKLuz Support Tariff: for the first year the bonus is increased to 2 months.
- Endesa Única: one free monthly quota each year*.
It does not apply to new contracts made for the One Luz 3 Time-Band Tariff and will be valid in all provinces within Spanish territory, excluding Ceuta and Melilla.
* For Endesa Única the promotion applies both to new contracts as well as changes in the contract holder.
In the case of the new contracts for the Happy and One electricity tariffs (excluding One Luz 3 time-bands) the first 720 hours of consumption will be charged at €0 per kWh. The consumption for the month includes all the hours in the first 30 days.
In the case of new contracts for electricity and gas or for customers who already have electricity and then contract gas, updating the electricity contract to a tariff with discounts, the promotion includes the first 1080 hours (1 and a half months) or 1440 hours (2 months) of electricity consumption.
In the following years, if you have not changed your product and have not cancelled your contract, a free month is applied to coincide with the anniversary of the date when your contract was signed.
For Endesa Única the promotion involves a 50% discount on the quota for the second and third invoices in the first year. In the following years, if you maintain the contract, the promotion will involve a 50% discount on the first and second invoices after the anniversary of the date when Única came into force.
For this promotion the one month's free consumption corresponds to the first 720 hours of electricity consumption.
In order to make the promotion the same for all customers, regardless of the day or month in which they sign their contract, the "one month's free consumption" is calculated as for all the hours in the first 30 days of the contract (24 hours/day x 30 days = 720 hours).
In the case of the 1 and a half months' free promotion, in the first year this corresponds to 1080 hours (24 hours/day x 45 days = 1080 hours). And for the two months promotion, it corresponds to the first 1440 hours (24 hours/day x 60 days = 1440 hours).
In the following years, regardless of the duration of the initial promotion (1 month, 1.5 months or 2 months), each year there will be 720h (30 days) at €0/kWh.
In the case of the One* and Happy tariffs a change of holder is not considered to be a new contract so this is not included in the "1 month's free electricity consumption" promotion. It is only applicable to new contracts, change of retailer, intergroup change or if you are switching from the regulated market.
For Endesa Única, with a change of holder you can benefit from one free monthly quota per year.
* Excluding the One Luz 3 Time-Bands tariff.
A change in tariff does not enable you to benefit from the "one month's free electricity consumption" promotion.
Only when clients contract Endesa Única is the bonus for a change in tariff applied.
Yes, as long as you also update your electricity tariff to one which includes in the promotion. For example, if you contract gas with Endesa and you have already contracted electricity with us, you can update your electricity tariff to benefit from the promotion.
Always remember that the tariffs that include one month's free electricity consumption forever are the One*, Happy and Única tariffs.
If you do not switch to one of these electricity tariffs, the promotion will not be applicable.
* The One Luz 3 Time-Bands tariff is not included in the promotion.
Yes, the holder needs to be the same person.
In the case of the Happy and One Luz tariffs, this promotion only applies to the electricity bill. However, if you contract Electricity + Gas the promotion is for more than a month during the first year.
By Contracting electricity and gas with Endesa you get 1 and a half months of free electricity consumption in the first year (1080 hours of electricity consumption at €0 per kWh) and if in addition to contracting electricity and gas you also contract a service, such as OKLuz Support, you get 2 months of free electricity consumption in the first year (1440 hours of electricity consumption at €0 per kWh).
Always remember that the electricity tariffs required for the electricity + gas bonus to be applied are the following: One Luz (except for One Luz 3 Time-Bands) and Happy.
In the case of Endesa Única, as you can include electricity and gas in the same monthly quota, the free quota includes both electricity and gas consumption.
No, because contracts cannot be moved from one supply point to another.
Yes, once you make a new contract for the Happy tariff you can change between the different modalities (2Hours, 50Hours or Day) and keep your bonus of 1 month's free consumption per year.
The same happens with Única, if you change the modality the bonus is still applicable.
Happy or One Luz: yes, as long as you do not change the access tariff and the commercial conditions for the product are not modified. In order to maintain the conditions, you can only make a purely technical modification (only the power).
Única: yes, the client maintains the promotion, providing the power change is made from his/her private area.
