Microalgae

The aim of the "Algae for Healthy World" project, headed by Endesa and with the University of Cádiz acting as technical coordinator, is to position Spain as a global benchmark in the cultivation of microalgae for the development of bioproducts. The results of the project will be validated at the more than 1,500 m2 pilot plant for the capture and fixation of CO2 established by Endesa in 2006 in the town of Carboneras in Almería province.
