Endesa and Civil Protection organised two training forums in June on risk prevention in case of working in electrical installations.
The programme consisted of the presentation of a series of theoretical topics on the electrical risks associated with electrical installations that served to assess potential risk and the main aspects relating to the safety of people and electrical equipment in case of access to and work in electrical installations.
Technicians from both institutions participated in the forums and analysed a series of basic concepts with regard to electrical activity: Electrical system, types of installations of which it consists, characteristics of the transmission and distribution networks, identification of installation, safety distances and what to do in the event of electrical incidents.
This training action was undertaken within the framework of the existing collaboration agreements between Civil Protection and Endesa.
