How is the discount applied when using public chargers if I have a Waybox and the Tempo 3 Periodos tariff?
If you have an Endesa Waybox home charger and the Tempo 3 Periodos electricity tariff for your EV, you’ll be eligible for special discounts on public charging.
We’ll contact you by email and provide a code that you’ll need to link to your account. Once activated, the discount will automatically apply when using the Endesa On Your Way app or your linked charging card. This way, whenever you start a session at an Endesa public charger, the system recognises your contract and applies the corresponding reduced tariff.
I already have another tariff with Endesa. Can I switch to the Tempo 3 Periodos tariff?
Of course. If you’re already an Endesa customer, you can switch to the Tempo 3 Periodos tariff anytime.
Do I have a commitment period if I sign up for the Tempo 3 Periodos tariff?
No, the Tempo 3 Periodos tariff has no minimum-term commitment or penalties. You can switch tariffs or cancel at any time.
How long does my contract with Endesa last?
The contract with Endesa, regardless of the tariff chosen, lasts for one year and is automatically renewable. In tariffs where a one-year duration is mandatory, we would inform you.
What is the update policy for the fixed price on the Tempo 3 Periodos tariff?
The price may be updated on 1 January each year based on the actual CPI (latest officially published year-on-year Consumer Price Index at the time of the update), as well as any changes to current regulated components applicable to electricity and gas supplies, and any potential new changes that may be approved by regulation.
In case of an update based on the CPI, the year-on-year CPI for November will be used. It is published on the National Statistics Institute website. The update will be made by adding the result of multiplying the CPI by the previous prices to the existing prices. For more information, the year-on-year CPI was 2.4% for November 2024, 3.2% for November 2023, 6.8% for November 2022, 5.5% for November 2021, -0.8% for November 2020, and 0.4% for November 2019.
If any changes, either upward and downward, are made to the regulated components applicable to the contract, these will be passed on to the customer. These types of changes are regulated and are entirely beyond Endesa's control. They apply equally across the Spanish national territory and to every provider.
Additionally, the price may be reviewed after one year from the contract date. If there are any changes, we will notify you one month in advance. Remember that you can terminate the contract without penalty, as well as switch to another Endesa tariff or to any other company at any time.
Which customers benefit most from the 3 Periodos Tariff?
This tariff is ideal for households with EVs and stable routines that can charge between 00:00 a.m. and 08:00 a.m. or during weekends. Perfect for:
- People who park in private or shared garages.
- Those who charge their car overnight (before starting their workday) or on weekends.
- Families with a second electric vehicle.
By scheduling your charging sessions for nighttime and weekends, you can maximise your savings without changing your daily habits.
Can I sign up for the Tempo 3 Periodos Tariff in a shared residential building?
Yes. This tariff can be used in multi-unit buildings or community garages with EV charging points. By concentrating usage overnight (00:00 a.m.–08:00 a.m.) and on weekends/holidays, you can lower collective costs and simplify shared consumption management. Endesa also offers personalised advice to help implement the most efficient community charging solutions for your building or garage.
Endesa expert tip: 'Integrate charging into your daily routine with the Endesa app: track your usage, receive alerts, and monitor your real-time savings and the positive impact of your electric mobility.'
What happens if I change EVs mid-contract?
No problem. The Tempo 3 Periodos tariff is tied to your energy supply point, not your vehicle. If you get a new EV, you can keep using the same tariff and charging point. You won't need to switch your charging station, as Endesa’s chargers are compatible with all vehicle types. If your new car requires a different power level, we provide personal support to adjust your contracted capacity to get the most out of your off-peak hours and holiday hours without overspending.
Expert tip: Before your new EV arrives, review your installation’s power capacity and check whether it’s worth adjusting it.
How is energy billed under the Tempo 3 Periodos tariff?
The Tempo 3 Periodos tariff divides electricity billing into three time periods:
- Off-peak (Valle): 00:00 a.m.–08:00 a.m. weekdays and 24 hours on weekends/holidays.
- Shoulder (Llano): intermediate periods during weekdays (typically morning, midday, and afternoon —excluding peak hours).
- Peak (Punta): highest-demand hours (usually 10:00 a.m.–02:00 p.m. and 06:00–10:00 p.m.).
Your bill will show consumption broken down by period, applying the corresponding kWh price for each. Concentrating your EV charging and major appliance use in off-peak hours significantly reduces your electricity costs. Plus, if you purchase an Endesa X Way charger, your off-peak hours include an extra 40% discount.
Can I transfer my Tempo 3 Periodos tariff to a new address?
The tariff is tied to your supply point, not your name. If you move, you’ll need to set up a new contract at your new address. You can then re-subscribe to the Tempo 3 Periodos Tariff and keep enjoying its benefits —off-peak pricing, weekends/holidays, and no commitment. Important:
- Notify the change in advance.
Expert tip: If you’re planning a move, make sure to complete this process ahead of time to avoid losing benefits next month. Endesa also offers personalised advice to help assess your new home’s electrical setup —such as required power and potential adjustments.
What happens if regulations change during my contract?
Endesa will update prices if:
- Regulated system components change.
- The interannual CPI is reviewed (each 1 January).
Peace of mind guaranteed: All price adjustments are transparent and applied uniformly across all suppliers under national regulations.
If I have a social bonus and I select this promotion, will I lose it?
