Elisabetta Colacchia

Career Path

She was Chairwoman of Itabus S.p.A from 2019 to May 2023. Previously, she was executive chairwoman of Essecieffe Investment. She has held various senior positions at ITALO Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori S.p.A, Telecom Italia S.p.A and Terna S.p.A. She has also sat on the boards of several companies from Telecom Group and Terna Group, in Italy and abroad, and has served as independent director at Invimit SGR S.p.A.

She started her career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in London, before moving to the Investor Relations department of the Enel Group.

In 2006, she received the Golden Lion Award for Communication.

Current Position

She has been with the Enel Group since June 2023, and was appointed Head of People and Organization in December of that year.

She holds a degree in economics from La Sapienza University of Rome and over the course of her career, she has held positions of responsibility and strategic importance at leading national and international companies in the energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and transport sectors.
