Of course. If you’re already an Endesa customer, you can switch to the One Luz 3 Periodos tariff anytime.

Do I have a commitment period if I sign up for the One Luz 3 Periodos tariff?

No, the One Luz 3 Periodos tariff has no minimum-term commitment or penalties. You can switch tariffs or cancel at any time.

How long does my contract with Endesa last?

The contract with Endesa, regardless of the tariff chosen, lasts for one year and is automatically renewable. In tariffs where a one-year duration is mandatory, we would inform you.

What is the update policy for the fixed price on the One Luz 3 Periodos tariff?

The price may be updated on 1 January each year based on the actual CPI (latest officially published year-on-year Consumer Price Index at the time of the update), as well as any changes to current regulated components applicable to electricity and gas supplies, and any potential new changes that may be approved by regulation.

 

In case of an update based on the CPI, the year-on-year CPI for November will be used. It is published on the National Statistics Institute website. The update will be made by adding the result of multiplying the CPI by the previous prices to the existing prices. For more information, the year-on-year CPI was 2.4% for November 2024, 3.2% for November 2023, 6.8% for November 2022, 5.5% for November 2021, -0.8% for November 2020, and 0.4% for November 2019.

 

If any changes, either upward and downward, are made to the regulated components applicable to the contract, these will be passed on to the customer. These types of changes are regulated and are entirely beyond Endesa's control. They apply equally across the Spanish national territory and to every provider. Additionally, the price may be reviewed after one year from the contract date. If any changes occur, you will be notified at least one month in advance. You may then choose to terminate the contract without penalty, switch to another Endesa tariff, or sign up with a different energy provider.

What happens if I use more electricity during peak hours with this tariff?

With the One Luz 3 Periodos tariffs there are no penalties, but the kWh rate will be higher.

 

If most of your consumption occurs during peak hours (10:00–14:00 and 18:00–22:00), your savings may be lower than with nighttime or flexible habits.

 

Expert tip: before signing up, check your current bill and calculate what percentage of your consumption falls into off-peak or mid-rate periods. If it’s under 35%, a stable, single-rate tariff might suit you better.

Is this the best electricity tariff for homes with electric vehicles or programmable appliances?

Yes. This tariff is especially suitable for users with:

  • Programmable appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, or dryer).
  • Timed heating or air conditioning.

  • If you work from home, you can manage flexible consumption (appliances, heating, or water heater) during lower-cost hours.
  • If you’re away during the day, it’s even easier to concentrate your laundry, drying, or device charging during off-peak hours (00:00–08:00 and weekends).

 

Savings tip: even with low usage, if you can concentrate at least 40% of your consumption in off-peak hours, the impact on your bill will be significant.

How can I know if this tariff is right for me?

Can I transfer my One Luz 3 Periodos tariff to a new address?

The tariff is tied to your supply point, not your name. If you move, you’ll need to set up a new contract at your new address. You can then re-subscribe to the One Luz 3 Periodos Tariff and keep enjoying its benefits —off-peak pricing, weekends/holidays, and no commitment. Important:

  • Notify the change in advance.

What happens if regulations change during my contract?

Endesa will update prices if:

  • Regulated system components change.
  • The interannual CPI is reviewed (each 1 January).

If I have a social bonus and I select this promotion, will I lose it?

If you have a social bonus, you should not sign up for this tariff or this promotion, as you would lose it.

I have a self-consumption tariff. Can I sign up for this tariff?

If you have a solar panel installation with an active self-consumption tariff, you cannot sign up for this tariff. However, at Endesa, we offer the Endesa Solar Tariff, tailored specifically for you.

Does this tariff include any promotions?

Yes, we have several discounts you can apply when signing up as a new customer:

  • A 10% indefinite discount on the energy term.
