“Endesa is learning to benefit from the talent that lies within the new startups and from the young people brimming with new knowledge”

– Ricardo Llera, a guest at the South Summit 2016.

The aim of the meeting is to connect investors to the great technological ideas of the 100 finalist startups, selected from among over 3,000 projects submitted to the competition. This figure now exceeds the previous editions.

During the event we presented a new Energy Challenge: Endesa Blockchain Lab, launched from endesaenergychallenges.com. The aim is to find the most innovative ideas in the energy world that use blockchain technologies to develop new solutions to change our world collectively.

“Blockchain is a cutting-edge technology that is being applied to the finance sector. If we apply it to the energy sector it could open up opportunities for people with ideas that could take the energy sector to a higher level”

– commented Antonio Domingo, a guest at the event.

The largest fair of the year for entrepreneurs ended with the presentation of the awards for the ten most innovative companies, which was presided by the current Education Minister, Íñigo Méndez de Vigo.
