Remotely managed meters are a key element in the digitalisation of the distribution network and in the transition toward a new energy model based on efficiency and sustainability, because they enable the development of smart networks, the integration of renewable energies and the flexibility of demand.
The objective of our Remotely Managed Project has been to implement a system of automatic and remote control and management of the electricity supply of domestic customers. We have already replaced 11.8 million meters, which means that 98.2% of the supplies with an active contract and contracted power of up to 15 kW have a remotely managed meter.
In addition, we participate in national and European projects of innovation and energy efficiency through technical committees, seminars, conferences, etc. in order to help advance the European deployment of remote management, and the evolution and development of smart grids.
