The level of excellence that we have achieved at Endesa in the field sustainability has been widely recognised by a number of accolades and awards.
The STIGA Customer Experience Research Institute has acknowledged our work as a leader in the sector of Customer Experience, due to having the greatest percentage of committed customers in the gas sector. This leadership of the sector places us as a referent among the over 200 companies assessed in different business sectors.
The European Union recognises Twenergy as a collaborative initiative against climate change. Twenergy was selected and acknowledged by the European Union (EU) as a best practice that helps to meet European 20/20/20 goals to fight climate change within the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign. This campaign aims at highlighting activities and projects on energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions in Europe. It specifically focuses on disseminating best practices in sustainable energy technology, creating alliances and inspiring new ideas and actions.
Twenergy has also won the "Smart Communication" award for its online work to spread the word on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Endesa Customer Services Management received the Contact Center Quality Award by Contact Center magazine for its application of innovative technological solutions to improve customer services in this sector.
We received the CRC Gold Prize for the best telephone sales plan from the Spanish Association of Call Center Experts (AECC) for having the best practices and processes in Customer Service Centres in the telephone sales sector. Endesa's Telesales General Public Channel has been developed working with Digitex, a strategic supplier of these services. Both companies filed a joint application for the award. This is the second time that we have received an award in this category.
We won the Atos Prize for digital progress.
Corporate Social Responsibility
The social responsibility plan for our staff, Plan Senda, won the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) prize at the Cegos Awards with Equipos&Talento for the best Human Resources practices. These awards acknowledge the initiatives of companies and organisations to innovate, adopt best practices, provide value to their actions and stand out in the market. They are organised by the Cegos group in Spain, in collaboration with Equipos&Talento.
We have received the 6th Corporate Social Responsibility Award granted by the Regional Government of Andalusia and the Confederation of Business Owners of Andalusia, in recognition of our role in creating quality employment. This is the most important recognition awarded to a company in this autonomous community for sustainable practices and policies. Initiatives that, according to the promoters of this award, have boosted employability and entrepreneurship by creating shared value and which have, in turn, had a positive effect on businesses in Andalusia.
Our work on revitalising the mining area in As Pontes (A Coruña) has been recognised by the 9th Fondena Award, given by the Nature Protection Fund. The then King of Spain, Juan Carlos, as President of Fondena, gave the award to Endesa President Borja Prado.
This project also won the Award for the best Corporate Social Responsibility Project at the sixth edition of the Business Innovation Awards given annually by the Cinco Días newspaper.
Capital magazine gave us the Capital Madrid Award for our work on the CENIT VERDE project, financed by the Cenit programme (Strategic National Consortiums on Technical Research) of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation that promotes research into technology to bring electric vehicles to the Spanish market.
Endesa and the National Don Bosco Award. Our close relationship with the National Don Bosco Award for Innovation and Technological Research combines many aspects of the sustainability strategy. This joint project has seen us work closely with an institution which, like Los Salesianos de Don Bosco, is a magnificent example of commitment to society in more than 130 countries where it provides education.
CRC Gold award for the best Ecommerce customer strategy. The Spanish Association of Experts in Customer Relations (AEERC), with the collaboration of Ifaes and IZO, presented this award to us in recognition of our strategy and service quality in digital sales of electricity, gas and In-Person Technical Services (STPs for its Spanish acronym).
We have received the CRC Gold award for the best phone sales plan on two occasions, for implementing best practices and processes in our Customer Relations Centres in the area of telesales.
