Conceived to raise technological awareness among young people and to promote educational innovation, the RetoTech_Fundacion_Endesa Competition is now open for the fourth time to entries from teachers and pupils at Primary and Secondary Schools in the Madrid Region and also, for the first time, to Secondary School pupils in Aragon. This competition fosters technological entrepreneurship by encouraging youngsters to find a solution to a real requirement identified in their own environments.
On this occasion the initiative is open to 60 schools in the Madrid Region and to 15 schools in Aragon.
These schools may complete their registration for the event from 9.00 a.m. on 7 September 2018 until 11.59 p.m. on 5 October 2018, via the website http://retotech.fundacionendesa.org. In order to take part they must send a video lasting under 5 minutes, in which both pupils and teachers show why their participation will help them to boost the use of technology in the classroom.
All participants will compete for the Fundación Endesa Award, which will be conferred by the jury appointed for this purpose; for the Networks Award, conferred on the project receiving most votes on the RetoTech website; and for the Endesa Employee Award, which will be conferred on the candidates receiving most votes from those attending the festival.
