The package includes an initial diagnosis of your gas installation and heating system (boiler, hydraulic circuit and radiators), an annual service to anticipate possible breakdowns that could increase your energy consumption. OKGas keeps the installation safe, extends equipment life and on average reduces breakdowns by 2/3, thus optimising gas consumption and, with it, the amount of your bill.
Whenever your heater breaks down, you can contact the OKGas technical department and a technician will visit your home in less than 3 hours to repair the breakdown (travel and the first 3 hours labour are free). Customers of OKGas have access to a free telephone number to request assistance, operational 24 hours 365 days a year: 900 85 86 85. Unlimited number of repairs.
OKGas enables you to comply with the regulations in force (R.D. 919/2006) and Thermal Installations in Buildings (R.D. 1027/2007), which by law require a biennial service of gas installations and equipment. In addition, the OKGas includes the cost of the Mandatory Periodic Inspection of the gas installation every 5 years which is obligatory, as long as you have also contracted the gas with Endesa Energía.
Other packages only cover the boiler and not the gas installation, or only cover maintenance and not repairs. OKGas takes care of everything.
OKGas covers the cost of the Mandatory Periodic Inspection valued at approximately €60.

Any costs of travel and the first 3 hours of labour on each visit are avoided, (parts are to be paid by the Customer, if a repair of the gas installation or boiler-heating equipment, hydraulic circuit or the radiators is necessary). In exceptional circumstances, in which the repair time exceeds 3 hours, we undertake to provide a free prior quotation.
Endesa exhaustively controls the quality criteria as well as the deadlines established for undertaking the work. In addition, random calls are also made regarding the operations carried out as well as satisfaction surveys, in which Customers usually give excellent ratings above 8 points out of 10.
Servicing the installation prevents, mainly, any possible gas leaks which would affect the safety of the inhabitants of the dwelling and, in addition, would mean an increase in energy consumption and the amount of bills.
Such inspections are of a preventive nature to check the condition, safety and correct operation of the gas installation and of the heating equipment (boiler, hydraulic circuit and radiators), in accordance with legal and technical regulations.
The heating circuit is the pipe routing through which the hot water runs from the boiler to each of the radiators. The most common faults occur in: the circulation pump, the safety valve, the circuit pressure, the boiler fumes outlet, the temperature probe that checks whether the water is hot or the radiator taps.
During a technical inspection, the following is carried out:
The contract lasts for one year and it is automatically extended on an annual basis. However, both the Customer and Endesa may terminate the contract giving written notice of at least one month prior to the expiration date.
The 20% discount on the service fee lasts for 1 year from the start date of the contract.
The service will be billed by Endesa X on a monthly or annual basis, depending on what was agreed. If you have contracted several services at the same address, they will all appear together on a single Endesa X invoice.
In addition, if you have contracted an electricity or gas supply with Endesa Energía at the same address, the service bill will be included on the same document as the energy bill, and both amounts (services and energy) will be itemised together in your account. The billing frequency in this case will be as indicated in the energy contract.
