ENDESA is gradually cementing its position as a gas supplier in Spain's regulated and deregulated markets.
In financial terms, ENDESA´s gas sales in Spain´s deregulated market amounted to Euro 750 million in 2007, up 15.9% of the previous year. Revenues from regulated gas distribution totalled Euro 59 million more than in 2006.
In physical terms, gas sales in Spain from companies in which ENDESA has an interest amounted to 33,238 GWh, 21% more tan in the previous year.
The 33,238 GWh sold, together with the gas consumed in ENDESA´s own generation plants, amounted to a total of 52,493 GWh, representing a market share of 12.9%.
