ENDESA is present in Chile through Enersis, the largest private electricity group in Latin America in which it has a controlling interest of 60.62%.
36% of ENDESA's consolidated assets in Latin America are located in Chile.
Through Enersis ENDESA is present in ENDESA Chile, the main domestic generating company, in which it has a controlling interest of 59.98% and through which it participates in other Chilean generators - San Isidro, Pangue, Celta and Pehuenche. Directly, or through the partly owned companies, it has 4.779 MW of installed capacity.
Through Enersis it also controls the distribution company Chilectra with 1.5 million customers.
